Dental Implants – Miami

We take on a comprehensive approach by finding out the underlying cause of dental problems, taking on complex cases, and correcting mistakes made by other clinics. We change people’s lives for the better by giving them a beautiful smile and making them happy.

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a special pin (made of Grade 4 medical titanium, zirconium, titanium alloys with other materials) screwed into the jawbone, replacing the root of the tooth.

An abutment (an intermediate link) is attached to it, which is necessary for fixing a crown to the dental implant (replacing the visible part of the lost tooth).

For the period of osseointegration of the dental implant (3 to 6 months, which is how long it takes for the artificial root to fuse with the bone), a temporary crown is placed on it. After the implant has taken root, it is replaced by a permanent ceramic E-max or zirconia.

Dental Implants – Before & After

All-on-X before & after

Patient 14

This patient heard about Dr. Tetri from his general dentist. He advised him to have his teeth treated in Miami. Dr. Tetri performed a complete reconstruction of the mouth on the upper and lower jaw. After the bone graft, multiple dental implants were placed. A fully fixed denture was placed the day after implantation. The smile became wider and more beautiful, facial wrinkles were smoothed out, and symmetry was restored.

Patient 19

This patient was missing all of her upper teeth and didn’t want to wear removable dentures anymore. Her dentures were chafing her gums and worsening the aesthetics of her face. When she found out that Dr. Tetri does full mouth reconstruction in one day, she scheduled an appointment with him. She thought it was impossible to give up removable dentures, especially in one day.

At the consultation, Dr. Tetri showed her what the new smile would look like. Her Digital Smile Design mock-up was ready the day before she visited us. The patient was thrilled as she couldn’t wait to get her new teeth.

Dr. Tetri placed six implants in 1.5 hours on the day of surgery, and while the patient was resting, new teeth were fabricated in the dental laboratory. That same day, the patient went home with a dream come true – something she thought was impossible.

Dr. Tetri
I will personally provide a diagnosis, come up with a treatment plan, and install dental implants of any complexity.

A few words about me:

  • Worked as a dental technician for 14 years
  • Have many years of experience in dental implantation
  • One of the few specialists in Florida offering Gneuromuscular Dentistry
  • A faculty member at Nova Southeastern University
  • Assisted in the development of Paltop implant

Finding a specialist who knows dental technique, periodontics, neuromuscular dentistry, implantology, and surgery at the deepest level is exceedingly difficult. I combine all of this knowledge and offer a comprehensive approach; the patient does not need to go from one clinic to another in order to consult with different specialists. Working with me, you get all you need in order to create a beautiful, healthy smile. This applies to even the most severe cases.

Extraction, implant placement, temporary crown made in the lab on premises - all done within one visit that took a little over an hour. Couldn’t be happier with overall experience and the work done. Highly recommend Dr Tetri to anyone who is looking for a dental work done right the first time.

What dental implants do we use at Tetri's Smile Dental Boutique?

The premium Paltop system is one of the highest quality systems used by top clinicians in the United States and around the world. This dental implant makes it possible to restore a tooth in one visit, in accordance to the protocol of single-stage implantation. It offers a wide range of prosthetic components to solve the most complex orthopedic cases.

Dr. Tetri was involved in the development of the geometry of Paltop implants. He knows every detail of this system.

A premium line of dental implants with a high success rate of up to 99.7%. Straumann implants perform well, even in the most difficult clinical cases, including immediate loading. Therefore, they are in the highest demand among implantologists in the United States.

Dental implants made of tantalum, a spongy trabecular metal. They have no analogues in the world. The innovative material has better bone fusion properties than Grade 4 titanium. This reduces the likelihood of complications in patients with diabetes, arthritis, periodontitis.

Nobel Biocare is a world leader in the market of scientifically and clinically proven solutions for dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. The Nobel system is based on more than 60 years of experience, beginning with Dr. Per-Ingvar Branemark’s discovery of osseointegration in 1952. This model lineup has solutions for every indication.

Choice of an implant system depends on the broad clinical picture – Dr. Tetri evaluates the results of the CT scan and selects the optimal model.

    Digital dentistry and dental implants

At the dental office of Dr. Tetri, we use modern computer-based technology – resulting in more predictable treatment results, minimal errors, excellent aesthetic results.

We carry out the most accurate 3D reconstruction of the scanned area. We determine the exact location of maxillary sinuses, mandibular nerve, blood vessels, roots of teeth near the planned location of the dental implant. We reveal hidden pathologies and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.

Thanks to the intraoral scanner (we use two models: 3D Shape and Primescan SIRONA), we get a digital impression without errors. We use this impression to manufacture prosthesis in the dental laboratory, up to a hundredth of a millimeter in accuracy.
    intraoral scanner
    perfect smile

We determine the percentage of distribution of masticatory load on each tooth, record the exact localization of “supercontact” on the surface of the teeth, assess the temporal dynamics when closing the jaws, identify pathology of micro-movement of the teeth, etc. So what’s the advantage? It protects veneers, crowns, bridges from high loads (increasing their service life); prevents from overloading of the dental implants (protection against their loosening and rejection); prevents the development of temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

The rest of the equipment and its purpose is described in the diagnostics section, or you can consult with your doctor to find out more.

    Our Dental Laboratory

Immediately after implantation, sensors are screwed on. Then, a PIC camera records their exact position and angle. We perform an intraoral scan of the oral cavity with an intraoral 3D Shape or Primescan SIRONA scanner (to obtain soft tissue data). The recorded data is processed by the software. We create the most accurate digital model possible (no analogues in the world work quite as well). Then, it is sent to a dental laboratory, where a robot carves out a temporary prosthesis in just 3 hours. This prosthesis can be installed immediately (implantation + prosthetics in 1 day).

When the adaptation is ready, the temporary teeth are cut out on a CAD/CAM machine using Exocad software. This approach has a number of advantages:

    1. High-precision fit (up to 5–7 microns). The new teeth are screwed on to the implants. Even the slightest error in terms of their fit can lead to rejection of artificial roots. Dr. Tetri guarantees a high accuracy fit of prosthesis on to the implants – performing dental implantation in one day, with predictable, successful results.
    2. New teeth, just like your own. Your new teeth look and function like natural teeth.

Our unique technology and digital dental laboratory allow for us to accept patients from anywhere in the world. Just 5–7 days, and you can fly home with new teeth!
